Description
The stables located west-north-west of Chetwynd Park are a late 18th-century building constructed from red brick and topped with a hipped slate roof. The structure is one storey high with a loft and features a symmetrical arrangement of bays, consisting of 1:3:1:3:1. The centre and end bays project slightly forward and are adorned with blind round arches and imposts; the centre bay has a pedimented gable, while the end bays have hipped roofs. Small square windows are set beneath flat stone arches. There is a central doorway that includes a rectangular fanlight and panelled doors, along with modern double doors that have been inserted in the left-hand bay.
