Description

No. 18 The Villas is a house built between 1851 and 1855 by Charles Lynam. It features a stucco exterior over a brick structure and has a slate roof, designed in the Italianate style. The house is two stories high and consists of three bays, with a three-story tower on the left side that has a single round-arched window on each floor. There is a projecting porch at the angle of the right-hand range, which includes a single round-arched window above and wide sash windows beyond. The eaves are overhanging, and there is a stack at the gable end. This house was part of a private development of middle-class homes, originally consisting of an estate of 24 dwellings.
