Description

This is a milepost located approximately 425 metres south of Field House, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and has a triangular shape with beaded corners. The milepost features superscribed serif lettering, indicating "WELLINGTON/ 8/MILES" on the left side and "WEM/7/MILES" on the right side. Field House is not included in this listing.
