Description
No. 45 Pride Hill is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from 1710. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building stands three storeys high and has a two-window range. The ground floor has an inserted shop front, while the upper floors are adorned with 12-pane sash windows that have flat-arched gauged brick heads. There is a string course above the first-floor windows and an overhanging moulded wood cornice with modillions at the eaves. A hipped dormer window is set into the roof. The building is dated on an enriched rainwater head, which also displays the initials W.S.R.M.
