Description

Milestone, probably from the late 18th century, made of red sandstone with a rounded top. It is inscribed with the words "FROM / Chester", although the remainder of the inscription was illegible at the time of the survey in November 1986. This milestone is located adjacent to the northeast front of Number 46, known as the Victoria Hotel, on the southwest side of High Street in Whitchurch.
