1-7, Talbot Street

This is a terrace of houses located on Talbot Street, built in the early 19th century. The structure is made of red brick and features a slate roof. It has three storeys and includes three brick ridge stacks along with an integral brick end stack on the right side. The terrace consists of eight bays, with glazing bar sash windows that have painted stone cills and lintels. The doors in the first, third, fifth, and seventh bays from the left are from the 20th century and each has a three-part rectangular overlight. The doorcases feature reeded and some plain pilaster strips, a frieze, and shaped brackets that support a flat hood. At the rear, there are segmental-headed casements and horizontal-sliding glazing bar sashes. Additionally, there are three one-storey service wings from around 1900, which have planted timbers in their gable ends and brick ridge stacks.
