Description

No. 24 Green End is a house that has been converted into a shop, likely dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with red brick nogging and a rendered front. The roof is covered with plain tiles, while the rear has been updated with concrete tiles. The building probably consists of two framed bays and stands two storeys tall. There is an integral brick stack at the right end. The front has three windows; the first floor has modern two-light wooden casements from the 20th century. The ground floor has a shop front with a canted plate-glass window, and a half-glazed door that is set back to the left, with a passageway to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
