House, now shop. Late C17, partly rebuilt in the early to mid-C19. Timber framed with red brick nogging, partly painted and partly rendered. Front range of red brick with rendered ground floor. Slate roof. Framing: square panels (2 from sole plate to wall plate) with long straight tension braces. Rear gable has collar and tie-beam truss with queen struts and V-struts. L-plan; C19 front range with one-bay C17 rear wing. 2 storeys. Rendered plinth. Central brick ridge stack. Two first-floor segmental-headed 4-pane sashes with stone cills, flanking central boarded window. Ground-floor segmental-headed 4-pane sash to right with painted stone cill. Shop-front off-centre to left consisting of 3-part plate- glass window to left, half-glazed door to right with blocked segmental-headed overlight, and rusticated surround. Side-passage doorway to left with boarded door and blocked segmental-headed overlight.
