Description
The remains of a windmill, likely dating from the late 18th century, are located approximately 65 metres to the north-west of Sunnybank Farmhouse. The structure is built from coursed Alberbury breccia rubble with some areas covered in cement render. It features a roofless, tapering cylindrical tower that stands three storeys high. The north-west side has segmental-headed openings on the first and second floors, along with a partially blocked doorway. There is also a boarded door on the south-east side. The interior has been gutted, but remnants of what were likely the former roof and floor timbers can be found on the floor. Sunnybank Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
