Description

Aston Bridge is a bridge built in 1841 by Edward Haycock. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a single segmental arch with raised keystones, a flat string course, and square corner piers. Spur stones are present on the approaches to the bridge, which spans the River Roden. The contract for its construction, valued at £240, was awarded to Edward and William Lewis.
