Description
The building is a former school located to the south of and attached to 12 St Alkmond's Square in Shrewsbury. It dates from the mid-19th century but has an earlier core. The structure is made of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with a slightly projecting steep gable on the right side. The left-hand bay contains wood mullioned windows, which have blue and yellow brick arched heads. The lower window has trefoiled lights, while the upper window features truncated triangular heads. The gable windows are similar, with simpler blue brick relieving arches above. There is a doorway in a narrow recessed bay to the right, which has a chamfered brick two-centred archway. Similar windows can be found in the gable wall and the rear elevation. The building is included for its group value.
