Description
This bridge, built in 1844 by Edward Haycock, is located in Nantmawr within the Oswestry Rural civil parish. Constructed from coursed sandstone rubble, it features a single round-headed arch that includes a raised keystone, voussoirs, and an impost band that extends to the soffit. A flat string course and parapet complete the design. The contract for its construction was awarded to John Cadman for the sum of £184. The bridge was previously listed twice under the parish of Llanyblodwel, but that listing was removed on 15 September 2017. This entry also underwent a Minor Amendment on the same date.
