GV II*

Garden house. Dated 1728, restored 1954. Brick. curved plain-tiled roof. EXTERIOR: facade with portico of 4 Roman Doric columns and pediment, the tympanum of which is filled with elegant twisted wrought-ironwork and shield of arms of Willim Bowles M.P. (proprietor of Vauxhall Glass Works). Flanking parapets with ball-head finials. Brick rear wall is semicircular in plan. INTERIOR semi-circular and plastered and with domed ceiling with moulded cornice.
