Description

This is a milepost located approximately 50 metres to the north-east of Sowbach Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and features a triangular section with a chamfered top. The left side of the milepost is inscribed with the words "SALOP/9/MILES," while the right side reads "DRAYTON/10/MILES." This milepost is part of a series, although Sowbach Farmhouse itself is not included in this listing.
