Description
Mill House is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is built of red brick and has a plain tile roof. The house features a two-cell baffle-entry plan and stands two storeys high with a gable-lit attic. Notable architectural details include a dentil brick eaves cornice and parapeted gable ends, which are adorned with moulded stone kneelers and rounded stone coping. There are central brick ridge stacks. The front of the house has two windows; the ground floor features 20th-century two-light wooden casements with segmental heads, while there is a central blind window on the first floor. The entrance is a central half-glazed door topped with a bracketed hood. To the left, there is a 20th-century addition that is set back, and there is a gabled wing at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
