Description
This is a milepost located approximately 25 metres to the south-west of Fordhall Cottages. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is made of painted cast iron. The milepost has a triangular section with a chamfered top. It features superscribed serif lettering that reads "SALOP / 17 / MILES" on the left-hand side and "DRAYTON / 2 / MILES" on the right-hand side.
