Description
The pump and enclosing wall, located approximately one metre to the north-west of Harnage House, is likely from the late 19th century. It features a painted cast iron pump with a cast frame and a crankshaft that drives the pump set vertically beneath a large flywheel and two handles. There is a cast plate on the pump that reads: "J. Evans and Sons. Wolverhampton/England". The pump is surrounded on three sides by low uncoursed grey sandstone walls, with a 20th-century brick lining. This structure is included for its group value.
