Description

This is a milepost from the early 19th century, made of cast iron. It features twin angled destination name plates connected by a sloping top plate. The milepost is supported by an angle-section post with curved brackets. The destination plates indicate distances to Ludlow (2 miles), Tenbury (7 miles), and Lemster (9 miles). The top plate is marked with "Ashford Parish."
