Description
This is a milepost located in Wheathill, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and features twin angled destination name plates connected by a sloping top plate. The milepost is supported by an angle-section post with curved brackets. The destination plates indicate that B'North is 12 miles away and Ludlow is 7 miles away, while the top plate identifies the parish as Wheathill.
