Description
This is a milepost located in Stoke St Milborough, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and features twin angled destination name plates connected by a sloping top plate. The milepost is supported by an angle-section post with curved brackets. The destination plates indicate distances to B'NORTH at 13 miles and Ludlow at 6 miles, while the top plate reads Moor Cleedownton.
