House. c1800. Painted roughcast render. Hipped slate roof with deep eaves. Rendered ridge chimneys. Plan of main block with 2 flanking recessed blocks. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. South front is 2-storey, 5-window range of 6/6 sashes with central portico. Ground-floor windows have applied timber architraves and windows on both floors have applied decorated pendant headboards. Portico with 4 Tuscan columns and plain entablature with cornice. Glazed infill set between columns. Plain pilasters behind with pair of panelled doors with perimeter glazing and top lights. Return sides are 2-window ranges with 6/6 sash and a blank window to front at first floor over C20 bay windows and French windows at ground floor. West flanking block: 2-window range with 6/6 sash to left, C20 replacement casements to right and ground-floor right, C20 French windows to ground-floor left. East flanking block is similar to west block except for a 2/2:6/6:2/2 sash to ground-floor right. Return side of flanking block with 6/6 sash over large ground-floor bay window. Rear: flanking blocks to each side of recessed main range are 2-storey, single-window ranges of 6/6 sashes with single-window range of the same to each return wall to the recessed main block. 8/8 sash with inserted casement to main block and glazed C20 door to left. INTERIOR: not inspected.
