Description
The gatepiers and wall to the east of the Vicarage date from the early 19th century and are constructed from coursed rubble. The wall extends approximately 40 metres from the gatepiers to the north-east and then continues north-west for about 45 metres. The gatepiers are square and rendered, featuring a rendered string course near the top and pyramid ashlar coping. The wall stands between 2.5 to 3 metres high, topped with flat ashlar coping and a curving rise. This structure forms a group with the Church of St Milburga and The Vicarage, highlighting its group value.
