Description
The Vicarage is an early 19th-century building constructed with stucco and roughcast render. It features a hipped slate roof with deep eaves and brick ridge stacks. The main block is square and three stories high, connected to a two-story service block.
The front faces south and includes, on the left, a three-story main range with two windows, featuring 8/8 sash windows, and a tall 6/6 sash window on the ground floor to the right. To the left, there is a leaded flat-roofed bay window with a combination of 4/4, 6/6, and 4/4 sashes. The center of the front has a link bay with a portico supported by a pair of Tuscan columns, which uphold a plain entablature. Above the portico is a glazed entrance door with a lunette window. The service block to the right has three mainly 20th-century 8/8 sashes at ground level and a 20th-century garage door, along with an 8/8 sash on the right return side.
On the west return, there is a four-window range of 8/8 sashes on the first floor, 4/8 sashes on the second floor, and a tall 6/6 sash window to the right on the ground floor. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a fanlight that has radial and festoon glazing bars, partially obscured by a 20th-century conservatory lean-to. The east return has an 8/8 sash on the lower storeys and a 4/8 sash on the second floor, with a central stair window that is a tall replacement sash. The left side is partly covered by the service wing.
At the rear, there are four blocked windows with cambered heads in the roughcast rendered wall. The rear of the service wing to the left includes a six-light casement with leaded lights on the first floor, and on the ground floor, there are two-light and three-light casements with cambered heads, the former also featuring leaded lights. The interior has not been inspected.
