Description

The remains of a medieval town wall and an attached building are located on St Mary's Water Lane in Shrewsbury. These structures likely date from the 13th century and later. The wall is made of coursed and squared red sandstone. It was originally part of the city wall and also serves as the long wall of a single-storey building that has a low-pitched Welsh slate roof. At the apex of the gable, there are remains of a carved finial, but there are no original openings present.
