Description
The byre and hayloft, located approximately 20 metres southeast of Court Farmhouse, date from the 17th century, with partial re-facing, rebuilding, and additions made in the late 19th century. The structure features a timber frame with square panels and red brick nogging, along with a plinth. The southeast side has undergone partial red brick re-facing and rebuilding, and the building has an old tile roof. It consists of three framed bays with additional sections and stands two storeys tall.
On the northwest front, there are scattered 19th-century casement windows and a sash window, along with an off-centre segmental headed boarded door to the right. The southeast front includes four first-floor casements and a loft door, three ground-floor segmental headed casements, and four segmental headed two-leaf boarded doors. Each gable end features segmental headed loft doors and ground floor segmental headed two-leaf boarded doors.
Inside, the building has double queen post trusses. It is included for its group value.
