Description

The remains of almshouses date back to the 15th century and are located approximately 20 metres to the west of the nave of the Church of St. Bartholomew. The north wall measures about 25 metres in length and features a central moulded arched doorway with a hoodmould, flanked by two moulded arched windows, each also with a hoodmould. These details are noted in Cranage, Volume 1, page 54, and in G. Griffith's "History of Tong and Boscobel," published in 1894.
