Description

These former almshouses, now two dwellings, were built in 1856 and are located adjacent to the church to the north. They are designed in a Victorian Tudor style, featuring flint construction with stone architraves around the doors and windows, as well as rusticated quoins. The buildings have tripartite mullion windows that are lead glazed, and a wooden door with a four-centred arch. There are three gables adorned with bargeboards and tall decorative chimneys. An inscription on the building reads, "Lord bend our wills to thine," along with the initials "MAC." The almshouses, St Andrew's Church, and the wall of the churchyard to the east form a cohesive group.
