Farmhouse, now farmbuilding. Probably C14 or C15 with mid-to-late C19 refacing. Timber framed of cruck construction, weatherboarded and corrugated-iron clad to South and East, coursed limestone rubble plinth and rebuilt walls to North and West; corrugated iron roof. 3 framed bays aligned North-South. One storey and attic. West front: raking eaves-dormer to right and small ground floor window to left; entrance in left-hand gable end; 2 agricultural openings to East, one with boarded door. Interior: 2 full crucktrusses with square panelled cross wall (lath and plaster infil panels), tie-beams and canted collars, Alcock apex-type B, and some smoke blackening; ground floor rooms with pairs of chamfered-and-stopped spine beams and plain joists; truncated integral end-stack to North (formerly external but later encased - see straight joint in masonry) with large open fireplace and bread oven; dog-leg staircase to West; stone-flagged floor.
