Description

Beech House is an early to mid 19th century red brick house located on Ellesmere Road. It features a low pitched hipped roof made of Welsh slate and has bracketed eaves. The house is two storeys high and consists of three bays. It has sash windows with glazing bars and plain lintels. The central doorway is framed by a porch supported by thin Tuscan columns, which hold up a heavy entablature with a decorative wrought iron balcony above. The entrance also includes a segmental fanlight. A large brick chimney stack with grouped shafts is present on the building.
