8A, College Hill

This early 19th-century warehouse, now used as offices, is located on College Hill in Shrewsbury. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a gabled end to the left, which originally contained loading doors on each of the three floors, now replaced with windows. A single bay projects to the right. A renewed doorway with a moulded architrave provides the current entrance, situated within the former loading bay. The upper loading doors have also been converted into windows. Overhanging eaves are present above, along with a pulley. Sashes with cambered brick heads are found in the flanking windows on each floor. Two blind windows are situated in the upper storey. A wide, segmentally-arched shop front with turned mullions is located on the right-hand side.
