Description

This is a warehouse, likely dating from the early 19th century and subsequently altered. It’s constructed of brown brick in an English garden wall bond, with a grey slate roof running parallel to the front. The building is three storeys high and has three bays.

On the ground floor, a repaired door consisting of four broad boards sits beneath a cambered brick arch on the west side. A central goods entrance features boarded double doors with blocked 12-pane windows inserted above, and is covered by a timber lintel. To the right of this is a 12-pane window under an altered cambered brick arch. The second and third floors display a former central loading bay, now bricked up, with a 24-pane window, likely cast iron in a timber frame, to each side. These windows are set below cambered brick heads on the second floor and simple timber lintels just beneath the eaves on the third. The rear of the building is largely hidden from view. The interior was not accessible for inspection.
