59 Timber Bush, 58, Leith, Edinburgh

This early 19th-century building is a four-storey, three-bay gabled warehouse that was originally three storeys high and likely heightened in the later 19th century. It has been converted into offices. The exterior features cream sandstone with coursed and squared rubble, along with coursed rubble on the rear and side, which has droved dressings. The rear and side have been heightened with red brick, while the front retains sandstone rubble.

On the northeast (front) elevation, the gabled facade includes large rectangular openings that are now glazed, with hoist doors positioned off-centre above. There is a loading and pulley mechanism for the third-floor door, along with modern hinged loading platforms. A single window is located at the first floor to the right, and there are single windows in the right bay, which have been enlarged at the third floor.

The southwest (rear) elevation features off-centre loading doors to the right, accompanied by modern hinged loading platforms. The hoist beam opening has been blocked. There is a single door at the second floor to the right and single windows in the left bay.

The northwest elevation has a single window at the ground floor in the centre, with single windows in the second and third floors across the three centre bays. The building has modern small-pane timber casement windows and a slate roof.

The interior was not seen in 1993.
