Description
The Masonic Hall, part of The Music Hall, was built around 1830. It features a stucco exterior over brick with stone dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. Designed in the Greek Revival style, the building has a prominent pedimented front. The low ground floor is divided into four bays by pilasters, with a central door and an additional door to the right, complemented by a blind recess on the left. The upper storey is also divided into four bays with pilasters, featuring two 18-pane sash windows and low-relief laurel wreaths in the stucco. A stone pediment crowns the structure. The side elevation consists of seven bays, each with 18-pane sash windows that have flat-arched gauged brick heads.
