A small store building dates primarily from the 17th century, with later alterations. Located in a yard to the rear of numbers 1 to 5 North Street and accessed only from number 2 Cross Street, it is constructed with a timber frame filled with brick. The building is one storey high with a gable, featuring a single small window within the gable. It has plain eaves and a slate roof. The store has been long unoccupied.
