Description
The Williams Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 25 meters north-west of the Church of St. Oswald in Oswestry. It was likely created around 1820 and is made of sandstone. The tomb has a rectangular shape, featuring a moulded plinth and a chamfered top ledger, with plain corner pilasters. There is a recessed semi-circular inscription panel that commemorates Catherine Williams, although the date of her death is not visible. At the time of the last survey in August 1985, the inscription panel was half-sunk in the ground.
