Description

The Leake Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 16 metres south of the chancel of the Church of All Saints in Berrington. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of grey sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a moulded plinth, sunken side panels, a frieze, a moulded cornice, and an ogee cap. It commemorates Elizabeth Leake of Shrewsbury, who died on 4th February 1796 at the age of 48.
