Description
The Lee memorial, located approximately 25 meters northeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Michael, is a chest tomb dating from around 1820. It is made of sandstone and features a rectangular shape with a moulded plinth and plain capping. The tomb is topped with a pedimented ledger that has an urn finial, with the underside fluted. It includes corner pilasters that are fluted and has moulded inscription panels. The south panel commemorates Joseph Lee, who died in 1824, and his wife, Mary, who died in 1820. The north panel is in memory of their daughter, Mary, who died in 1835.
