Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1800, with some minor later additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with an integral end stack on the left and an external end stack on the right. The building has a basic T-plan and consists of two storeys plus a gable-lit attic, which is adorned with a dentilled eaves cornice. The façade includes three segmental-headed casement windows and a central entrance that has a plain pedimented doorcase with a rectangular overlight and a 20th-century ledged door. At the rear, there is a gabled range that includes a stepped external end stack and an infilled arch at the bottom, which was once used for a bread oven. To the left, there is a two-storey lean-to, and to the right, a single-storey lean-to. Although a full inspection of the interior was not possible during the last survey in February 1987, it was noted that the rear range has a chamfered spine beam and joists in the ground-floor room.
