Description
Old Shop Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It features a roughcast timber frame set on a rendered plinth and has a slate roof. The building has a two-cell central baffle-entry plan and consists of one storey with an attic. On the ground floor, there are three 20th-century casement windows: one to the left and two to the right of a 20th-century half-glazed door, which is positioned under a contemporary gabled hood immediately to the right of the centre. There are also 20th-century gabled eaves dormers on both the left and right sides, along with a red brick ridge stack in the centre. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
