Description
This is a barn with attached hop kilns located to the north-east of Boraston Court, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a dentil course at the eaves, topped with a plain tile roof. The structure consists of a five-bay range that runs east-west, with the kilns forming an end cross-wing.
On the exterior, the gable facing the street has brickwork with evenly distributed vent holes. The north side includes four segmental arched full-height niches, three of which have diagonal vent holes, while one has a plain boarded door inserted. There is a barn door located to the centre left within a segmental arched opening, and a full-height square opening on the right end that connects to the cross-wing, which is made up of two hipped slate-roofed hop kilns. The south side mirrors the north side with similar niches and a barn door opening.
The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
