Description
The Old Bull Barn is a former barn that has been converted into a garage. It likely dates from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and mid- to late-19th century. The structure is timber framed, featuring rendered limestone rubble and painted brick walls, topped with a graded slate roof. It is a single-storey building with framed bays.
On the exterior, there is a two-light casement window located off-centre to the right, which has boarded shutters, and a boarded door to the right of the window. Additionally, there is a boarded loft door in the gable end to the left, and garage doors are located at the rear of the building.
Inside, the barn features a central full cruck truss with an Alcock apex-type B and a double purlin roof.
