Description

17 and 19 The Mount is a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They feature stucco and roughcast render over brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. The buildings are three storeys high and have a two-window range. The ground floor is stuccoed, with outer doorways framed in pedimented cases and paired four-pane sash windows set in moulded architraves. The upper floors have twelve-pane sash windows, with two dormers above. The corners of the buildings are highlighted by stressed angle quoins in the render, and there are gable end stacks.
