Description

The Mount House is a house built around 1800, constructed of brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It has three storeys and an L-shaped plan, with the main section facing west. The front features a two-window range, displaying tripartite sash windows on the lower floors and semicircular windows above. The rear wing includes the entrance, which consists of a six-panelled door with a traceried fanlight set in an open pedimented case, along with a twelve-pane sash window positioned above. A slightly later addition extends the window range to the right of the main front. The house is also equipped with paired axial stacks.
