Description
This early 19th-century stable block and cottage stands in Frankwell, Shrewsbury. The building is constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof. The cottage is a two-storey, two-window range. Its ground floor features an arcade of three bays, with three-light casement windows. There are two casement windows above. The stable wing adjoins to the right and is a single-storey, two-window range. A rear wing of the cottage is integral with a rear stable or coach house wing. The rear stable/coach house wing has inserted doors to the ground floor, and a blank arcade, doorway, and oculus cut through it by a later building added to the front.
