Description

69 The Mount is a house, now used as offices, built around 1830. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The building has three storeys and two bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with flat arches made of rubbed brick. On the ground floor, there is a single window and a doorway, both offset to the right. The doorcase is adorned with engaged Doric columns, a triglyph frieze, and panelled reveals. The double doors have three raised and fielded panels on each leaf, and above them is an overlight with diagonal glazing bars. A mutuled gutter cornice is present, and there is a shared chimney on the ridge at the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
