Description

This is a pump located approximately 4 metres to the north-west of Red Abbey, dating from the mid-to-late 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and features a circular shaft with moulded rings. The top is fluted and has a splayed spout, while the cap is fluted and domed, topped with a spike finial. It also has a double-curved handle and a lion maker's plate. This pump is included for its group value.
