Description
This is a milestone located on the A5 road in Sheriffhales, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of stone and has a rectangular shape with a segmental top. The top is inscribed with the words "SALOP" and a question mark, indicating the distance in miles, which was illegible at the time of the re-survey.
