Description
Pendrill's Cave is a cave or grotto located in Weston Park, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from rock-faced sandstone and has been excavated to a height of approximately 2 meters and a depth of 3 meters, featuring a facing wall to the excavation. The cave is said to have been the occasional residence of Pendrill, a reputed hermit or mendicant. It serves as a picturesque garden feature within Weston Park.
