Description

Shrewsbury Gates, piers, and walls to Weston Park are a gateway and screen walls built in the mid 18th century. They are made of stone, with the piers standing approximately 2 meters high. Each pier features a moulded string and coping and is flanked by screen walls. The upper half of the screen walls is designed with balustrading, while the lower sections are constructed from coursed stone. The wrought iron gates include a decorative middle band and cresting.
