Description
The gates with flanking walls and two pairs of piers, located approximately 100 metres south-west of Weston Hall, date from the 18th century and are constructed of sandstone. The piers are square in plan and feature chamfered rustication, cornices, and ball finials. The balls on the inner piers are bisected by an abacus. The convex rubble walls have flat copings and step upwards to meet the taller inner piers. The gates are made of wrought iron and include an elaborate overthrow.
